Lead Operator-Needlepunch 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 100 Iso Parkway, Gray Court, SC 29645 The Lead Operator is responsible for providing leadership to create a work environment that drives and achieves high performance and excellence in safety, quality, productivity, training, and customer service. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

(What you are supposed to do) Lead the operations team in the efficient operation of the NP3 process in regards to safety, quality, production, policies and procedures, process improvements and training. (Ensure all KPI’s are met) Acts as role model and leads a culture promoting safety policies and procedures. Leads quality efforts regarding the Fibertex Nonwovens Quality Policy to ensure quality products and services which meet customer’s expectations. Promotes Fibertex principles and values by leading teams to achieve goals. Coordinate work assignments for teams. Ensure work instructions are followed. Plan and address technician move’s, production changes, coverage for absences. Ensures compliance with safety, quality, policies, procedures and work instructions. Informs manager/supervisor of concerns and needs. Initiate appropriate action for non-compliance. Communicate problems and issues to appropriate resources in a timely manner. Manage and effectively use team meetings to drive communication and address production, safety, quality issues.

Monitor/audit the following areas:

Safety, Quality, Work Practices, Documentation, Policy & Procedures, Breaks and Housekeeping. Fosters a strong team environment built on respect, fairness, and consistent treatment of all employees and provides a positive work environment. Ensure team members have tools and training needed for job responsibilities, including PPE. Responsible for reviewing and approving employee timecards and Training matrix’s. 1.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

(Skills you need to fulfill your responsibilities, including education and experience) Formal Education ☐ Master’s degree £ Bachelor’s degree ☒ Associates or Technical Degree desired T High School Diploma or GED required Required competencies of the position Previous leadership experience required Flexibility to work overtime as required. Physical requirements – Standing, reaching, repetitive hand movement, using upper extremity, climbing & balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and squatting. Regularly lifting/moving 30 lbs, overhead lifting 25 lbs, pushing & pulling 30 lbs. Vision, color perception, hearing/listening and clear speech. Experience 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment desired. Mechanical and troubleshooting experience preferred Effective written and oral communication skills. Good computer skills. Ability to read and interpret operations documents. Knowledge of metric system is a plus. Demonstrated effective leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Successful training and coaching skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to build a connection with the team through personal involvement and trust Accountabilities This individual reports to Production Line Coordinator with dotted line to Plant Manager.
