$105,000.00 USD Annually – $130,000.00

USD Annually Description:

Job Summary The role involves overseeing special projects, production lines, cost reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement through an analytical approach. The position requires developing and implementing assembly line sequencing and data collection while adhering to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities also include recommending and implementing process, method, control, and product design improvements. Ensuring that safe working practices are embedded into all processes is a core function. The individual will interact with various levels of the organization, collaborating as a team to achieve and be accountable for desired outcomes. Additional Information Occasional travel required (up to 5%)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering work experience

Industry Knowledge:

Expertise in powertrain, driveline, and/or 4WD systems Experience in DFMEA development and maintenance (required) Training or experience in Root Cause Analysis Training or experience in APQP Training or experience in DFM/DFA Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes Responsibilities To successfully perform this role, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty effectively. Core Responsibilities:

Ensure safety, quality, talent development, production, delivery, and cost performance within the assigned area Define and implement a strategy and vision for assigned responsibilities

Cost Reduction:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost-saving initiatives Develop and communicate business needs in partnership with support teams Conduct audits, including

LPA, EHS, 5S

, and other compliance assessments Formulate continuous improvement action plans to align with daily performance indicators Estimate capital, tooling, facilities, and employee headcount requirements for new business opportunities, model year updates, and product changes Establish and manage the annual department budget per company policies and procedures Lead the Operational Excellence Team , ensuring optimal efficiency Oversee cost drivers (materials, labor, discretionary spending, capital and tooling expenses) to maintain balanced plant operations Prioritize and manage strategic capital projects and tooling procurement in collaboration with purchasing teams

Program Launch & Process Enhancement:

Execute new program launches and improve process maturation

Technical & Operational Duties:
