3rd Shift | 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM HTI is partnering with a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier to hire a Quality Supervisor for their Spartanburg, SC facility. This full-time, overnight position plays a key leadership role in supporting production quality, team coaching, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Supervise quality operations and personnel within a defined production zone during 3rd shift Train and certify team members on workstations and processes Ensure production meets safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency expectations Conduct daily toolbox talks and maintain zone performance boards Monitor product quality, report issues, and implement corrective actions Investigate incidents (e.g., near misses, tooling issues), document root causes, and drive resolution Coach team members on job performance and behavior; handle attendance and discipline issues in line with company policy Collaborate with other shift leaders and support teams to return abnormal processes to standard Maintain production traceability, material containment, and accurate reporting in line with company procedures Required Qualifications Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience) 3-5 years of relevant supervisory experience in manufacturing or quality leadership Strong leadership and coaching abilities in a fast-paced production environment Demonstrated ability to solve problems, manage conflict, and make decisions under pressure Knowledge of manufacturing safety and quality protocols Experience working with hour-by-hour performance boards, visual controls, and production monitoring systems Willingness to flex schedule, including occasional early arrivals, late stays, or weekends Must wear steel toe boots and hard hats on site Must meet federal export control requirements as a U.S. person Ideal Candidate Profile Leads with integrity, accountability, and attention to detail Builds morale and fosters a positive team culture Communicates clearly and constructively Embraces change and seeks continuous improvement Uses feedback to grow and strengthen team performance Maintains punctuality, follows procedures, and leads by example Demonstrates urgency to meet production and quality demands Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance HSA and FSA with employer contributions Company-paid short-term disability and basic life insurance Optional long-term disability and voluntary life insurance Tuition reimbursement Paid time off and company holidays Employee referral and performance incentive programs Apply Today If you’re a strong, people-focused leader with a background in manufacturing quality and team development, this is your opportunity to step into a key supervisory role with a well-respected automotive supplier.
