Team Lead – B/C Lines, 2nd Shift 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 1825 East Main Street, Duncan, SC 29334
Summary:
To support line operations, ensuring efficiency targets are met. Expected to manage and escalate machine, personnel, and quality issues following defined escalation paths. Ensures compliance with company policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Start and stop the shifts on the computers. Audit lines referencing production schedules Communicate quality issues to operators on the line, and/or process, shift lead and supervisor Communicate and conduct base quality investigations for any quality issues or concerns that may arise Identify and coordinate the repair and/or removal of damaged or non-functional tools Distribute PPE or supplies the line may need, audit PPE compliance daily Fill in for absenteeism Accurately track and record downtime, rework and scrap Identify nonconforming foamed material in alignment with established boundary samples Identify nonconforming subcomponents and follow scrap procedures Conduct audits and assessments to identify potential areas of risk. Understand and maintain audit compliance as it relates to the foam line function.
This would include:
IATF, ISO, and TISAX (information security). Follow all safety protocols and guidelines established by the company. Encourage safe practices and a safety-first mindset among coworkers. Communicate daily pass down information to employees Additional duties as needed and assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Indirectly supervise line employees.

Experience:
Employee must have working knowledge of manufacturing environment. The individual will be responsible for leading and overseeing manufacturing activities with regard to continuous improvement of the manufacturing process and executing long term strategic plans. Must be self-motivated and possess well developed leadership skills. High School Diploma/GED Ability to read and interpret work instructions/general production information written and communicated in English.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions and required documents. Has the ability to respond and communicate complicated instruction and basic directions.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic mathematics.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Work Environment:
Normal amount of sitting and standing, above average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer. Works with Supervisor, Line Leads, Process and Maintenance Technicians. Works as a team with fellow employees on the production line.
