Overview:

We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Shelbyville, TN that’s looking to hire a hands-on Production Supervisor for their 3rd shift operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of 20-30 production associates, ensuring efficient production processes, driving improvements, and maintaining a safe, productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of 20-30 associates on the night shift, promoting accountability and engagement Be a hands-on, on-the-floor leader—actively present in the production environment to coach, support, and troubleshoot in real-time Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to production efficiency, safety, and quality Monitor and analyze production data and KPIs to make data-driven decisions and improvements Conduct performance reviews, manage scheduling, time tracking, and vacation planning for team members Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards Foster a culture of teamwork, communication, and high performance

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED with at least 5 years of supervisory experience •OR •Associate’s degree with at least 3 years of supervisory experience Proven experience overseeing a team of 20-30 employees in a fast-paced environment Experience in performance management, scheduling, and team development Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive, data-driven mindset Must be comfortable working 3rd shift and in an onsite, manufacturing environment Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred) Background in other high-paced industries such as distribution, warehousing, retail, or food service management will be considered
