SUMMARY:
To efficiently manage available resources both human and equipment. Perform functions to supervise daily operations of bottling department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Build a strong, achievement-oriented team by using the appropriate mix of hiring, delegation, training, monitoring, feedback, coaching, motivation, mentoring, and employee retention techniques. Supervise the daily operations of assigned bottling production as consistent with customer and company requirements. Plan, layout, and assign work for bottling line employees in accordance with production schedule. Hire, train, monitor, discipline, evaluate, and develop employees. Enforce organizational policies and rules of conduct Ensure adherence to applicable quality and manufacturing standards, and GMP’s. Analyze and resolve problems relating to product quality, product quantity, processes, materials, scrap, waste, personnel, etc. Record efficiencies ratings to improve yields and throughput Provide technical assistance to operators in resolution of production problems and sanitation rules and requirements Complete required production reports as required. Responsible for Food Quality, Safety and Legality.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or G.E.D.- Associate degree is preferred, Bachelors is desirable. A minimum of 2-4 years Supervisory experience, bottling, liquid filling, blending, and/or packaging industries desirable. Must be well organized, results oriented, and have effective problem solving ability. Must possess strong leadership and team building skills. Must possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively. Must be computer literate-Microsoft Office Programs and AX is desirable. Must be a self-starter and work without supervision. Good organizational skills.
