Ice Cream Maker Coney Waffle Ice Cream Cakery 801 Belmar Plaza, Belmar, NJ 07719 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and motivated Ice Cream Maker to join our production team. This role is central to crafting high-quality, small-batch ice cream, and specialty frozen desserts. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, enjoys working hands-on in a kitchen setting, and is committed to consistency, cleanliness, and product excellence. Key Responsibilities Prepare and produce a wide variety of ice cream flavors, Italian ice, and mix-ins according to company recipes and seasonal offerings. Operate and maintain ice cream production equipment, including batch freezers, and mixers. Measure and mix ingredients with precision, following strict sanitation and quality control standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and production area in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient usage and alerting management when supplies run low. Collaborate with team members on developing and testing new flavors or improving existing recipes. Package and label ice cream products accurately for display, grab & go, or wholesale orders. Qualifications & Experience Prior experience in a kitchen, bakery, or food production environment is required. Familiarity with food handling, sanitation, and safety practices is essential. Ability to follow detailed recipes and maintain consistency in taste and texture. Physically capable of working in a cold environment and lifting ingredients or equipment (up to 25 lbs). Strong communication and time management skills. Creative mindset and enthusiasm for dessert innovation is a plus! Additional Information Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods of time. Flexible schedule preferred, including availability on weekends and holidays. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
