Production Manager/Supervisor Tooling Solutions Inc Knoxville, TN 37918 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced sign shop production manager. Job would be to coordinate a staff of five employees to efficiently and effectively produce high quality signs. We have a good staff with lots of experience on our equipment but we need someone ready to take on the responsibilities of creating a production schedule to improve efficiency, quality, team morale… Responsibilities Supervise a team of currently five production associates. Create a production schedule that maximizes lights out printing and associate productivity. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and reduce waste. Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain product integrity and compliance with industry standards. Train, mentor, and develop team members to improve their skills and performance. Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement. Maintain mechanical knowledge to assist in troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Implement preventative maintenance schedules for equipment. Experience Must have a good understanding of how this equipment works. Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment is essential. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality control methodologies. Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are required. Equipment Wide format Roland eco-solvent printers. Two Graphtec cutters and one Summa cutter. Cold laminators. Panel saw for cutting substrates.
