Full Job Description Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily production and machine operating process. Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities to employees during the shift. Comply and ensure all employees are following safety policies and company procedures. Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance. Verify production paperwork for accuracy and completion and submitting reports in a timely manner. Coordinate and evaluate production scheduling based on sales projections to ensure there is an adequate inventory of supplies and staffing to meet production goals. Provide leadership and training to subordinates to promote continual growth in job, skill, and knowledge. Ensure that shifts are staffed adequately to meet production goals. Monitor product quality on a routine basis to ensure the finished product meets/exceeds NSF and ASTM standards. Evaluate plant operations to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize production downtime. Process formulation tests to ensure a cost-efficient quality product. Responsible for preparing and conducting performance reviews for production Team Leads in a timely manner. Lead morale amongst employees to encourage a teamwork environment. Generate Scrap Summary Reports. Attend daily production meetings and work closely with the Plant Manager.
