As their Production Supervisor, you will make an immediate impact by performing the following duties: Leads by example and oversees performance management of production staff to include hiring, training, evaluations, disciplinary actions, scheduling, and production KPI’s Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals Ensures efficient and smooth operations in responsible departments; oversees all orders, assists with quality control, communicates effectively with all departments/leadership; adheres to and enforces safety guidelines, policies, procedures and GMP’s to drive company mission and core values Updates and maintains production records, tracks and analyses workforce and daily production costs, finds solutions to reduce production cost/losses Support inventory management by tracking monthly inventory of production supplies and tracks components after production completion Closes work orders and informs the Warehouse Ensures proper use and maintenance of all production equipment, tools, and accessories Confers with Production Manager, concerning any issues and safety concerns which may arise and offers potential solutions Supports and helps implement continuous process improvements; We’re looking for knowledgeable Production Supervisors withe the following background profile: : A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred 5+ years of related production leadership experience Knowledge of food industry, food hygiene standards and GMP’s Proficient with Microsoft Office This is an awesome opportunity to join a premier manufacturer right here in VT!
