Position Summary:
Assists in production during the drycast process
Essential Job Functions/Duties:
Responsible for production quality / quantity each day (must meet set goals!) Understand and be able to operate wire reinforcement production machine Understand steel area calculations and ensure proper steel area is produced Ensure machine is clean and is in good working order each day Ensure quality of materials used in production (green rod) Be able to perform basic trouble shooting on wire reinforcement machinery
Preferred Qualifications:
Quick thinker / flexible / problem solver Leads when required, but able to work with others to achieve common goals Time management, must understand “urgency” of manufacturing Intermediate math skills Computer knowledge / skills Industry experience a plus Understanding of electrical controls is a plus English / Spanish is a plus
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Exposed to high levels of concrete dust. Work outdoors but may on occasion work indoors. Temperatures may vary due to weather. Regularly wear protective attire, such as hard hats and steel-toe boots. Exposed to sound and noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable. Work in extremely bright or very dim lighting conditions. Shift/Hours Expectations Mon – Fri (Saturdays as needed) 50 – 60 hours/week
