Job Description:

• Review daily production data to track key performance indicators and support decision-making;
• Monitor and enforce First-In, First-Out (FIFO) controls;
• Maintain scrap management systems and analyze production losses to identify improvement opportunities;
• Ensure production goals are met by coordinating materials, workforce, and workflow;
• Order raw materials for extrusion and post-production processes in alignment with the production schedule;
• Monitor the flow of production materials;
• Receive and check inbound production materials to verify quality and quantity;
• Analyze production and scrap data;
• Monitor inventory of finished goods;
• Perform weekly and monthly inventory checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements;
• Create purchase orders for extrusion and post-process materials in coordination with procurement;
• Manage reports related to extrusion operations to track quality;
• Manage production of after-service (AS) parts;
• Analyze and generate monthly production reports detailing performance metrics and material usage;
• Create weekly status reports to update the production department leader;
• Generate Purchase Requisition (PR) / Purchase Order (PO) documents for the production department to ensure timely procurement;
• Perform machine and labor efficiency analysis to improve resource utilization;
• Measure and update Bills of Materials (BOM) in response to raw material changes;
• Conduct daily raw material inventory checks (rubber, steel, coatings, chemicals, etc.);
• Analyze scrap and develop improvement plans to reduce defects and waste;
• Perform testing and analysis of new raw materials;
• Investigate and resolve issues with incoming raw materials;
• Investigate and retest suspected defective raw materials.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field of study;
• Experience in automotive parts manufacturing or production control preferred; and
• Knowledge of production planning, material flow management, and BOM analysis.
