This includes, but is not limited to running tests on materials, collecting and recording material data, measuring and monitoring paint systems for inventory, functionality, and start-up or shut-down issues. The operator must frequently move hoses and drums, lift and/or move up to 55 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. We are looking for someone with the production industry knowledge to innovate and improve our daily processes. The paint booth manager will be responsible for increasing quality and output while training others to do the same. Will be painting tap handles in 100-unit lots. Tap Handles are made of wood metal and resin. You will need to know how certain paints bond with those materials and troubleshoot if there are any problems. Perform daily process application quality analysis. Execute required chemistry tests. Log and report data. Maintain product inventories. Troubleshoot and maintain systems as needed. Working with paint suppliers. Mixing paint and solvent chemicals. Operation a paint gun and spraying the product needed. Running an HVLP Gun Know how paint chemistry works Knowledge and experience in a production-type facility Clear communication with a team

Qualifications:

• 2 years of production style painting experience is required.
• Knowledge of different types of paints, finishes, and application techniques.
• Ability to manage and train a small team.
• Attention to detail and a strong eye for color matching.
