Accounting Manager Position Summary This role is responsible for executing a range of accounting functions, primarily focused on accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and general ledger activities . The position supports daily financial operations, month-end close processes, and compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform 3-way matching , coding, and entry of invoices following necessary approvals Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to purchase requests, purchase orders , and invoice processing Validate and process payments for approved invoices Identify and address any irregularities in outgoing payments Prepare monthly accrual journal entries Apply incoming payments and perform A/R reconciliations Prepare A/P and A/R aging reports and analyze outstanding balances Timely preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns Collect data and prepare 1099 filings Assist with month-end and year-end closing , including financial statement preparation and reporting Conduct account, bank, and credit card reconciliations Maintain and update daily cash reports Serve as a backup to team members when needed Support internal and external audit processes Ensure transaction accuracy and adherence to company financial policies and procedures Provide professional and courteous customer service to clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders Perform other duties and projects as assigned Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) Minimum of 5 years of experience in A/P and A/R , with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel , especially in accounting-related functions Hands-on experience with SAP (SAP Fiori preferred) Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices Familiarity with automated accounting systems and ERP platforms To apply please email your resume to
