Production Associate- Daytime Shift 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Huntsville, AL 35806 MACRO Industries, a leading aerospace and defense composites company, is seeking a Production Associate for their Huntsville, AL location. MACRO operates one daytime shift in a climate-controlled environment. The successful applicant will assist in daily production activities to assure desired quality and quantity of work is safely achieved.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with a team to assemble and finish armor panels. Ability to read company engineering drawings. Ability to read, execute, and fill out detailed work instructions. Set up and operate production machinery. Prepare materials for production. Ensure materials are used and handled appropriately. Ensure product meets quality standards. Assist with packaging and labeling finished products. Maintain clean and safe work area. Use basic tools. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. Required Skills/Abilities Excellent mechanical background. Previous experience in an aerospace/defense manufacturing environment is desired but not required. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Ability to think quickly and identify/resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to run manufacturing equipment. Ability to work well independently and with a team. Able to lift up to 60 lbs. Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day. MACRO currently operates a single 8-hour daytime shift 5 days a week in a climate-controlled environment.
