  • This position is contingent upon award. A secret security clearance is required.
  • Job Title:
  • Production Control Specialist
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Plans, monitors, schedules, and manages activities throughout production cycle to improve runtime.
  • Plan and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operations.
  • Gathers and organizes data on a monthly basis to submit reports to the customer and government supervisor for review.
  • Presents a status of outstanding orders to the project lead and government supervisor on a bi-monthly basis.
  • Inventory management; works on cost analysis process to provide repair quotes to the customer.
  • Analyze customer orders and establish production schedules for timely delivery.
  • Assists the program manager to ensure that staff follow company policies and procedures
  • Develop positive relationships with staff and customers to meet productivity.
  • Develop process improvements for inventory.
  • Reviews production calendars for daily processing; adjusts schedule to maximize productivity.
  • Maintains working team relationships in order to achieve goals.
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Adhere to the company’s AS9100 and quality policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Education:
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience:
  • 3 or more years of experience shipping, receiving, handling, inventory, and processing of Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), sensitive items, and various missile and aviation equipment and assemblies. Secret security clearance is required.
