Job Description :
Ability to comprehendblueprints, sketches, weld symbols, material types, and templates.
Fabricate, align, and assemble structural parts such as plates,bulkheads, and frames. Tack weld clips and brackets in to placeprior to permanent welding. Solid understanding of shipbuildingand/or manufacturing processes Must be able to demonstrate theability to accurately perform layout, cutting with a torch, metricmeasuring, and structurally fitting processes.
Qualifications:
Musthave a minimum of 3 years of 1st Class Marine aluminium shipfittingexperience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Mustbe able to read blueprints. Must be able to work at heights and inconfined spaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on your own.10-Panel drug screen Must be a U.S Citizen and provide a birthcertificate or passport. Fitter must pass a preliminary writtentest and hands on testing. Any prior felony charges will preventjob access.
