Position Title:
Machine Operator/Material Handler/Forklift driver
Supervisor:
Operations Manager I.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform duties in running plant operations and production to reach daily and monthly production goals. 2. Feed raw materials into production machinery. 3. Monitor the production process. 4. Carry out basic quality and testing checks. 5. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary. 6. Keep maintenance logs. 7. Store goods and raw materials properly in warehouse. 8. Assist with ensuring compliance with all OSHA and Federal and State environmental standards. 9. Upkeep, maintenance, and security of building. 10. Help maintain a clean well-organized bale room and production facility. 11. Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill orders 12. Pack goods to be shipped. 14. Assist maintenance technician in repairs. 13. Display an ability to work easily and flexibly with co-workers with a positive attitude. 14. Display an ability to problem solve in a rapidly changing environment. 15. Perform other miscellaneous jobs as may be assigned by supervisor. II.
Pay:
$15.00-$18.00 per hour; paid weekly 40-hour rotating work week. 10 hour shift Monday-Thursday. Overtime will be paid at 1.5 Opportunity to grow III.
Qualifications and Knowledge:
1+ years of experience operating machinery and equipment Mechanical experience including maintenance and repair of machinery and machinery improvements is a plus IV.
Physical Demands:
Work will require extensive physical exertion, such as kneeling, crouching, or lifting (75 lbs. or less). Able to work on foot for extended period of time. Have a strong work ethic. Reliable mode of transportation. V.
Work Environment:
Work involves the normal risks and discomforts associated with an unconditioned warehouse involving equipment and machinery.
