$18.00/HR Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of press machines, ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing top-notch products that meet customer specifications.
Requirements include:
Operate and set up stamping presses and press brake machines according to production specifications. Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards. Utilize hand tools and CAD software for precision adjustments and modifications as needed. Interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), to guide production processes. Maintain equipment by conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing necessary maintenance. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any operational challenges. Document production data accurately, including machine settings, output quantities, and quality control results. Standing for long periods of time. Attention to detail. Bending, Stooping, Twisting. Working in fast-paced environment. Work well with others.
Required experience:
HSD/GED required Steel toes required Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in press operations is advantageous. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks for design interpretation and modification is a plus. Strong understanding of quality control processes and standards related to manufacturing. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
