Event Staff/Production Assistant Position Available In Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Event Staff/Production Assistant XJ Entertainment Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 XJ Entertainment is hiring Production Assistants to support our team with the setup and breakdown of stages, lighting, sound, and visual equipment for events. This is an entry-level, hands-on role perfect for anyone looking to get into the world of live events, concerts, and production. We’re looking for dependable, hard-working individuals who want to grow with us — with opportunities to train into lighting design, audio, or tech specialties.

What You’ll Do:

Load and unload equipment at event sites Help set up stages, lighting rigs, truss, speakers, and visual gear Assist lighting and sound techs as needed Run cables, move gear, organize cases, and keep the event space clean and safe Follow directions, stay on schedule, and work as part of a fast-paced team Uphold safety practices during all parts of production

Who We’re Looking For:

All experience levels welcome — attitude and reliability matter most Strong work ethic and ability to lift/move heavy equipment (50+ lbs) Willingness to learn and grow within the production field Comfortable working nights, weekends, and long shifts when needed Bonus if you have experience with: Basic tools and rigging Driving a trailer or large vehicle Lighting or sound equipment setup Production software or gear knowledge
