Shift:

3pm-11pm

Job Summary:

Operates cutoff saw that cuts metal to length.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for operating B&O band saw
Cuts metal to proper length
Processes all the paperwork at the B&O saw
Checks and refills oil levels and reports leaks to the supervisor
Operates forklift with 8000 pound capacity
Operates crane
Maintains a professional communication with supervisors and co-workers to insure efficient and safety work operations
Places all scrap in tubs with proper labeling
Identify part according to work order
Will be required to operate finish saw and resaw.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Must be able to read and understand job sheets, work instructions and route tags. Ability to read calibers, micrometer and tape measure and utilize applicable measuring equipment, work instructions and control plans. Demonstrate ability to set up and operate equipment without supervision. Demonstrate ability to run equipment without breakdown and maintain productivity based on historical run times. Demonstrate ability to produce defect-free parts. Demonstrate the ability to complete all applicable paperwork associated with this job title. Individual is familiar with lockout/tagout, and other safety related issues associated with this job title. Individual is familiar with the following procedures:
