Cannabis Production Worker Connecticut Cannabis Co. 40R Franklin St, Norwich, CT 06360 Who We Are Connecticut Cannabis Co. Position Summary As a Manufacturing Technician you will help produce cannabis-infused gummies and other cannabis products- safely, efficiently, and at scale for a highly regulated legal industry. You will operate and maintain food-grade equipment, follow strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food-safety standards, and keep meticulous batch records to ensure every product leaving our facility meets Connecticut’s regulatory requirements and our own exacting quality benchmarks. Key Responsibilities Operate, clean, and maintain production and kitchen equipment Execute production orders with consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail Accurately document every step to preserve full product traceability Adhere to SOPs, recipes, GMP, food-safety, and QA standards at all times Wear required PPE and uphold the highest hygiene standards Ensure that all state laws and regulations are followed at all times Support continuous-improvement projects and new process roll-outs Lift, move, bend, and stand for prolonged periods (8-10 hrs); routinely handle up to 50 lbs Perform other duties as assigned to meet production goals Requirements & Qualifications Must-Have High-school diploma or equivalent Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, unit conversion) Strong work ethic, adaptability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment Capacity to comply with all company and state cannabis regulations Pass a Connecticut DCP background check prior to hire Preferred Culinary, GMP manufacturing, laboratory, or professional kitchen experience CT Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience in medical or adult-use cannabis production Training, Growth & Career Path All technicians gain immediate access to: Green Flower’s nationally accredited online certificates (e.g., Cannabis Handler; Extraction & Product Development Specialist) Mandatory professional-development modules in food safety, compliance, anti-harassment, de-escalation, and emergency response Mentorship & Opportunities for tuition reimbursement for relevant coursework A clear pathway to roles such as Edible Production Supervisor, Compliance/Inventory Supervisor, and Director-level positions, supported by documented promotion targets and funding for upskilling.
