Assembler Line Leader (2nd shift) 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Danbury, CT 06810 Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for an assembler line leader position on the second shift at a manufacturing company is Danbury, CT. The line leader oversees assembly teams and is the right-hand person for the production manager or group leader. This is a direct-hire opportunity. The hours are 3:30 p.m.-12 a.m. Monday-Friday. The salary is $25.67 an hour with a target performance bonus of 5% of an employee’s annual base salary.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead assembly team with direction from group leader Support production positions with work assignments as needed Accurately pick parts for production orders Assemble, check and package sub-components and finished products according to instruction, production order, work and inspection instructions, and drawings Coordinate work assignment and rework processes Serve as backup for group leader Print labels, make SAP transactions, and test software Handle more complex assemblies Train other assemblers Mount items to fulfill assembly orders of sub-components and finished products Temporary assignments as floater in different assembly teams Maintain order at the workplace Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Strong manufacturing assembly experience Experience leading assembly and/or manufacturing team Manual dexterity and mechanical ability Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to operate manufacturing equipment and test equipment Time management skills to meet deadlines Proficient in the use of computers and other electronic interface equipment SAP knowledge a plus Able to work overtime and flexible hours as needed
