By The Sea Resorts d/b/a Surfside Laundry is seeking 110 temporary Laundry Production Operators for full-time employment from 4/1/2025 to 10/31/2025 in Panama City Beach, FL and Destin, FL to: Perform a variety of tasks on varying shifts, including collecting and sorting soiled linen, loading and unloading machines, and folding clean linen. Operate computer-operated washers and dryers. Perform laundry activities within well established guidelines to ensure that quality standards, safety guidelines and customer services expectations are met. The overwhelming majority of the positions duties are performed while standing, walking and bending. Responsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned linen according to schedule. Report equipment/cleaning product needs and /or malfunctions to supervisor in timely fashion. Responsible for the safe and proper use of detergents and adhere to all safety precautions. Work involves pulling and pushing, carrying weight up to 50 pounds, twisting, bending and reaching from floor to waist height and from waist to chest level. On-the-job training provided. 35hrs/week.
Shifts:
5 am to 1:30 pm; 1:30 pm to 10 pm; 10 pm to 5:30 am. $13.86/hr, $20.79/hr OT. Overtime is available. Pay is weekly. A single work week will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from paycheck required by law. All tools and equipment will be provided by employer at no cost. Assistance to obtain housing (apartments not owned by By The Sea/Sufside Laundry) which is optional to the worker. If temporary worker is hired & elects to use By The Sea’s housing, cost of housing at $160.00 per week will be directly deducted from paycheck. Daily transportation to worksite will not be provided. Inbound transportation (including meals as necessary, lodging) to place of employment reimbursed to workers. If worker completes 50% of work contract period, employer will reimburse worker for transportation & subsistence from place of recruitment to place of work. Upon completion of contract or where worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence except where worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. Amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to most economical and reasonable common carrier for distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of 15.88/day during travel to a maximum of $59.00/day with receipts. Employer will reimburse H-2B worker within 1st workweek all visa, visa processing, border crossing & related fees including those mandated by government.
