Summary:

The Technician position will be responsible for assisting with assembly and manufacturing taking place in the Panama City, FL location in addition to other duties as assigned by the Company.

Skills and Ability Requirements:

The Technician must possess the minimum skills and abilities listed below:
Prepare and assemble materials.
Proficient use of hand tools.
Build product subassemblies or final assemblies and packaging for finished products.
Ability to effectively use an electrical multi-meter for purposes of reading circuitry and troubleshooting connectivity problems.
Have a thorough understanding of standard electrical wiring practices: i.e., switches, outlets, circuit breakers, load distribution centers, etc.
Have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics/ drawings for the purpose of integrating components into the systems and for trouble shooting problems.
Possess a basic knowledge of gasoline and diesel combustion engines and electrical generators used as remote power sources.
Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products.
Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
Assist engineers in developing, building, or testing prototypes or new products, processes, or procedures
Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Motivated and able to learn simple to more complex processes with increasing experience and building of skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. independently and up to 90 lbs. with two people.
Ability to work independently.
Team-oriented approach to achieving the common goals of the Company. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
System troubleshooting and maintenance
Independent, solo work for over 50% of the tasks
Work with other Technicians in support of other assembly and test.
Other duties and special projects as required.
Maintain strict adherence to compliance, safety standards and standard work instructions including wearing personal and protective equipment

5% There may be an occasion to travel for a repair or mob/demob at some point.
