Position Summary:
The Warehouse and Production Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations in both the warehouse and production areas, ensuring team efficiency, safety, and product quality. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, and current forklift certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise warehouse and production staff to meet daily goals and deadlines. Provide clear instructions, training, and support to team members in both English and Spanish. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (must be certified). Oversee receiving, inventory control, storage, and distribution of materials and products. Monitor production lines and workflows to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Train and mentor new team members on equipment use, safety procedures, and company policies. Maintain accurate records, including inventory logs, shift reports, and production documentation. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a warehouse and/or production leadership role.
Bilingual:
Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written). Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer proficiency. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications are a plus.
