The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and assembling, with the ability to work with various tools and machinery. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and precision of metal components used in our production processes. The Metal Worker will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and inspecting metal equipment according to company specifications. Responsibilities Critical Responsibilities The Sheet Metal worker will accurately assemble metal products and equipment such as ductwork, fittings, fans, dampers and air distribution. Proper and safe use of hand tools and portable power tools. Fasten seams and joints together without assistance Qualifications Minimum of four (2) years working in sheet metal shop. GED or High School Graduate Preferred. Work skillfully with tools, metals and machines. Understand, read blueprints and verbally communicate in English. Comply with all Advanced Hood Systems safety procedures. Ability to successfully complete a drug test and background check subject to applicable law as you will be dealing with confidential information Set up production equipment or machinery. Must be able to take direction, be accepting to change and strive for continuous improvement. Assemeble sheet metal equipment within the shop according to blueprints and specifications.
