The Front-Line Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee and manage front-line manufacturing employees, typically managing hourly employee populations. This on-site role is crucial in ensuring efficient operations and contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing area.

Job Description Essential Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage front-line manufacturing employees, ensuring efficient operations. Develop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline, potentially including support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in a broad area. Apply general business knowledge developed through education or past experience to understand how the team’s work contributes to the area. Resolve issues using established procedures, consulting supervisors or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters. Collaborate with others to solve issues and develop strong customer relationships for customer-facing roles, serving as the interface between customers and GE. Exchange technical information, ask questions, and check for understanding to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college OR a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing.

Desired Characteristics:

Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
