Job Summary The Sign Production Specialist is a professional, self-motivated team player with great interpersonal skills and values delivering excellence. Operate CNC routers and automated equipment for cutting and shaping materials. Assemble signs, including hardware and electrical components for illuminated signage. Install interior and exterior signs safely and accurately, including elevated installations using ladders or lifts. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production orders to ensure project accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area and ensure equipment is in proper working order. Assist in maintaining company signage equipment and tools. Interface with customers, answer phones, and provide consultation on signage needs. Keep accurate electronic and paper records for job tracking and documentation. Collaborate with team members to meet quality standards and project deadlines. Maintain full-time availability (40 hours/week). Stay current on new technologies, tools, and techniques to grow as a sign-making professional. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in sign design, production, and installation Proficient in vinyl creation, application, and vehicle wraps Skilled in CNC machine operation, material setup, troubleshooting, and routing software (e.g., VCarve, EnRoute) Able to import, edit, and prepare files for CNC production with a solid understanding of tool paths and calibration Experienced with large format digital printing and RIP software Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design tools Comfortable with color management and graphic layout from technical drawings Skilled in operating shop equipment (panel saws, drills, hand tools, etc.) Valid driver’s license; able to travel for installations and work at heights (up to 50 lbs. lifting)

Preferred:

Certified installer (3M, Avery, etc.) Familiar with sign industry software (FlexiSign, CorelDRAW) Electrical experience for illuminated/LED signage OSHA or safety certification Compensation $24.00 – $27.00 per hour Hourly rate negotiable base on overall experience, skills and capabilities
