JOB SUMMARY
Perform various production duties including inserting prints, quality control, pocket feeding, and assisting operator. Responsible for bundling and stacking prints onto pallets per customer specifications.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Feed the proper stock into pockets pulling torn, curled, or folded stock before feeding. Must be able to feed up to 4 pockets (64 pages). Make sure the finished product has the correct number of stiches. Identify and sort product defects or rejected material ensuring the quality of all jobs coming out of the bindery. Notify Bindery operator or shift supervisor of all quality issues. Neatly stack finished product onto designated skids as directed by work order or supervisor. Box, tape, or strap finished product as needed. Follow safety procedures including wearing proper PPE as assigned. Maintain a clean, safe working environment by keeping skids neatly stacked, floors swept, and materials organized. Notify manager, supervisor, or Human Resources of safety hazards immediately.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Must be able to follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as assigned. High level of attention to detail required. Able to work well in a team environment.
