Job Description:

As a Production Assistant at Lings Dumplings, you will be creating delicious and authentic Asian dishes while upholding the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing an assortment of dumpling fillings and doughs as well as forming the dumplings.
• Operating a specialty industrial dumpling forming machine
• Ensure that each dish meets our standards for taste, texture, and visual appeal.
• Manage and maintain the freshness and quality of ingredients used in the kitchen.
• Follow rigorous sanitation and food safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen station.
• Oversee and coordinate daily production activities in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure that production goals and targets are met or exceeded
• Supervise and train production staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality control and efficiency
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules and workflow
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions

Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen experience.
• An understanding of Asian flavors and cooking techniques
• Ability manage time and be efficient.
• Effective communication skills and a strong team player mindset.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a production or manufacturing setting
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in using computer systems and software related to production management
