  Spherion Staffing of Lake, Marion, and Sumter County has openings for Production Assembly Workers to join our clients team located in Tavares, FL.

Ideal candidates should have previous experience in loading and unloading working in a manufacturer environment, and be able to stand for long periods of time, as well as lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs. repetitively. These are temp-to-hire positions. The schedule is Monday-Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm/5:00 pm with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Schedules vary based on production needs and may include Friday or Saturday.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload propane tanks onto the production line according to established procedures.
• Ensure proper labeling and identification of tanks for efficient workflow.
• Assist in the packaging and shipment of propane tanks as needed.
• Verifying dates adn codes of tanks for usage.

Working hours:

5:00 AM

• 5:00

PM Skills:

• Familiarity with basic machinery operations and the ability to operate pallet jacks safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. …
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.

Education:

High School Experience:

0-1 years

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in loading and unloading duties within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and write English to understand work instructions, safety guidelines, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time, as well as lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs repetitively.
