We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Operator to support daily manufacturing activities, including equipment operation, product handling, and maintaining production quality and safety standards. Job Summary As an essential member of the production team, this role requires exceptional attention to detail. Key responsibilities include soaking, cooking, blending, and batching semi-finished products as well as supporting other production areas in accordance with production standards. Job Responsibilities Accurately scaling and mixing ingredients using written instructions (formulation, batch sheets, SOPs, etc.) Accurately identifying ingredients according to formulations Soaking, Cooking, and Blending various materials and ingredients, following specific formulas and procedures Efficiently operating cooking and blending equipment including start-ups, adjustments, troubleshooting, changeovers, and shutdowns Supporting equipment preventative and corrective maintenance efforts Maintaining clean equipment and work area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Completing all necessary paperwork required by the position Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members Ability to follow verbal and written instructions such as Formulation, Batch Sheets, Work Instructions, etc. Ability to do simple math calculations including and understand simple measurement units Speaking, reading, and writing in English (preferred) Physical Requirements 100% manufacturing floor position that requires standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, reaching, bending, twisting, and working with machinery and processes that require the use of the arms, hands, and fingers Requires prolonged periods of standing Will exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, push or pull regularly Qualifications, Education, and Experience High School diploma/GED (preferred) Experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment (Preferred) Be able to pass a background check Be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
