Sr. Dress Designer
We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Sr. Dress Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is a fashion enthusiast with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of dress construction, and techniques. As a Sr. Dress Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our collections, ensuring they are not only aesthetically appealing but also marketable and in line with our brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the design team to develop concepts, sketches, CADs, and prototypes for new collections.
Stay updated on trends, market demands, and consumer preferences to create designs that resonate with our target audience.
Research and select suitable fabrics, and trims for each collection, considering both aesthetics and functionality.
Work closely with tech designers to oversee the development of prototypes and fits of garments.
Collaborate with production teams to monitor the manufacturing process, ensuring timely delivery of finished products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design with 5-6 years of experience Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong understanding of construction, textiles, techniques, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality pieces.
