Paid training is provided at our facility. Role is expected to progress into a full-time ice cream maker when appropriate. Working hours are 8-5, 3 days per week. No previous experience is necessary. However, prior experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes.
• Sanitize the equipment and utensils necessary for production.
• Monitor ingredient quality and expiration dates.
• Follow the direction of the Production Manager with respect to cleanliness and production standards.
• Maintain a standard of personal cleanliness.
• Conduct ingredient inventories on a weekly basis.
• Assist with receiving and unloading shipments, pulling ice cream orders to be shipped, and maintaining organization in the storage areas.

Qualifications:

• Openness to learn and maintain a consistent work ethic
• Ability to interact well with others including direct supervisors.
• Detail oriented for follow recipes and providing accurate inventory counts.
• Consistent availability (Typically the same days each week) You must provide your own transportation and be able to work a 9 hour shift from 8AM to 5PM at least 3 days per week.

$15/hr.
