Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
- Sandblaster and Fast Powder Coating Operator
- to join our manufacturing team.
This position is responsible for preparing surfaces, applying powder coating finishes, and supporting various production tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in sandblasting and powder coating, be safety-conscious, and be willing to assist with general manufacturing duties.
Primary Duties
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, prepare, or finish metal and other surfaces
- Set up and operate powder coating systems including electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens
- Apply powder coatings efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper coverage, thickness, and finish quality
- Maintain coating and blasting equipment to ensure safe and optimal operation
- Perform quality inspections of finished parts to ensure standards are met
- Track materials used and report inventory levels to supervisor.
Secondary Duties (Manufacturing Support)
- Assist in assembly, welding prep, machining, or packaging as needed
- Perform routine maintenance or cleaning of work areas and tools
- Load and unload parts from racks, conveyors, or storage
- Assist in receiving, material handling, and shipping support tasks
- Follow work orders, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures

- Proven experience in sandblasting and/or powder coating preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment
- Familiarity with safety standards and PPE usage
- Willingness to be trained in other manufacturing tasks and cross-functional roles
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
