Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemical Operator to oversee the operation of reactors and mixing tanks in a dynamic production environment. This hands-on role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work with various chemicals and equipment to ensure consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure and weigh precise quantities of ingredients for proper mixing and formulation Operate and monitor reactors, mixing tanks, and filtration systems, maintaining control over time, temperature, pressure, and product consistency Complete batch records, log books, and inventory documentation using designated software systems Safely fill drums, buckets, and other containers with finished materials Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety protocols Troubleshoot production issues and support supervisors in resolving equipment or process challenges Use computer systems (e.g., Vantage) for tracking materials and managing inventory
Qualifications:
Basic math and reading comprehension skills Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures accurately Physically capable of lifting/moving over 100 lbs and standing for extended periods Able to wear a full-face respirator as required (no facial hair that interferes with the seal) Must comply with respiratory protection requirements under OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910.134)
