Commercial Sewing Supervisor / Supervisor de Costura Commercial Confidential Pinellas County, FL Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced bilingual English / Spanish supervisor to oversee operations within our sewing department. Will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s sewing production, from planning and scheduling to supervising employees and ensuring quality. Meet production targets, managing resources, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Duties Production Supervising:

Planning, organizing, and developing production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.

Supervision and Leadership:

Supervising and coordinating the activities of sewing machine operators, ensuring they are working efficiently and meeting quality standards.

Quality Control:

Ensuring the quality of finished products by inspecting work and providing feedback to employees.

Resource Management:

Ensuring the availability of necessary resources such as personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies.

Team Management:

Hiring, training, and evaluating sewing personnel, and addressing any issues or concerns.

Cost Control:

Monitoring production costs, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to reduce waste.

Safety:

Ensuring a safe working environment for all employees, following safety protocols, and addressing any safety concerns.

Process Improvement:

Identifying areas for improvement in sewing processes and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and quality. Skills Must be bilingual in

English and Spanish Strong Sewing Skills:

Extensive experience in sewing.

Supervising and Leadership Skills:

Ability to supervise and motivate a team of sewing operators.

Knowledge of Textile Manufacturing:

Understanding of different fabrics, sewing machines, and production processes.

Quality Control Skills:

Ability to identify and address quality issues and ensure products meet standards.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and other departments.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to identify and solve problems related to production, quality, or safety.
