Factory Worker Custom Mattress Makers Inc Clearwater, FL 33762 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our family-owned mattress company. In this general factory role, you will be responsible for assisting the production manager with all daily production related tasks . This position requires a being on your feet for most of the day, a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Our company is growing quickly and there is opportunity for new positions to open up down the road. Pay rate will be offered based on experience and readiness to begin work . Responsibilities Assembly of mattresses and other bedding products. Measuring and cutting fabrics, foams, other materials into specific sizes. Material handling from one station to another. Loading/unloading supplies and finished product onto delivery trucks. Lifting items that weight up to 75 lbs. Restocking inventory areas as needed. Light sewing machine operation (trained). Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet specifications. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and resolve any issues that arise. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Other similar and related duties as needed. Experience Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. Proactive attitude (making things happen without waiting to be told), positive personality (being well liked at the shop) and willingness to explore new jobs over time.
