Are you transitioning out of the military and have a knack for assembly and a desire to learn valuable skills in a manufacturing environment? Do you enjoy working with tools and being part of a team that creates military products? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing manufacturing facility in Largo, as an Entry-Level Manufacturing Technician!
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in assembly, using hand tools, or working on a production line to take the next step in their career. You’ll start by contributing to our assembly processes, gaining a deep understanding of our products and quality standards. We are committed to investing in our employees and offer a clear pathway for motivated individuals to train and advance into Machine Operator roles.
We have 1st and 2nd shift roles available. In addition, the facility is climate controlled, so you can work the summer in reasonable comfort.
What You’ll Do:
Perform assembly tasks on a production line according to established procedures and quality standards.
Utilize a variety of hand tools and potentially some power tools to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow, with the potential to train on and operate manufacturing machinery in the future.
Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
Identify and communicate any issues or potential improvements in the assembly process.
What You’ll Bring:
Ideal candidates will have a military background
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably on an assembly line.
Comfort and proficiency using various hand tools.
A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
