Production Associate & Purchaser Position Available In Pinellas, Florida

Production Associate & Purchaser Stitch Logo, Inc. 2165 Sunnydale Boulevard, Clearwater, FL 33765 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. This is an important role within the organization that offers job security and an opportunity for advancement. This position is responsible for making sure the production team and front office staff have all the supplies that are needed to fulfill customer orders and be efficient and productive. Duties Maintain relationships with all suppliers, keep up-to-date records Make sure all suppliers have current tax documents and have our appropriate payment methods. Create Excel documents for each supplier based on customer invoices. Create in a way that simplifies the receiving process for production. Save on the server. Mark all customer invoices with special notes such as Back orders, POs etc. Contact suppliers via phone, email or website to place orders based on those Excel documents Understand how various databases work and are connected to one another to ensure a smooth ordering process. Pull up an invoice in QuickBooks and reprint if needed, be able to locate online order number. Use our online platform if you need to verify invoiced items based off their original online order. If paperwork needs to be updated give to invoicing team. Handle any product delivery shortfalls or issues with the supplier, whether via phone, email or website. May involve returns or reorders. Follow up with delays and back orders constantly. Notify the team if extended delays are expected so they can reach out to the customer Follow up with customer mis shipments and requests for order updates Check in all sample returns, close out invoice in QuickBooks and give to customer service rep for customer outreach. Call, email or submit online all items for return and request RMAs within the approved timeline of each vendor. Package items for return and return to vendor. Remind production team to give you updated inventory lists, order as necessary. Update inventory lists on the server. Maintain showroom. Remove any discontinued items and order new items from suppliers and update inventory list. Rotate items quarterly to keep the showroom fresh and current. There is room for creativity and marketing ideas, so have fun with it! Just clear with your supervisor. Assist production with receiving and shipping if necessary; maximum of 2 hrs/day Order all supplies for employee break room and front office staff As this role grows there is an advancement option. Added responsibilities will be managing production staff schedules and personnel concerns, negotiate price deals with suppliers and find new suppliers. Able to lift boxes over 50 lbs and be on your feet all day if necessary Strong attention to detail. Consistent follow-through Time Management Organized Reporting Structure You are the bridge between customer service and production so you will communicate with both departments Your direct supervisor is the Vice President Working Conditions & Benefits We are a small office and are excited for a new member of our team! We all get along and keep our communication lines open. The job is 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday. The job will start as hourly and if you choose to stay and move up within the company this position will turn into a salary position. After the first 3 months you will get paid holidays. Paid holidays include New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (and depending on when the holiday lands sometime additional days are given) After first 3 months you will receive a budget to pick items for your uniform After 1 year with the company, you will receive 5 paid sick/ vacation days.
