Production Worker/Machine Operator 2.3 2.3 out of 5 stars 330 Cooper Palms Parkway, Apopka, FL 32703 Looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Machine Operator to join our growing team in producing melamine parts for our closet-producing company on a full-time basis. We operate out of our own facility in Apopka, Florida, and distribute wholesale materials to vendors. Should you choose to work with Roomy Design Organizers, we offer paid time off, six Federal Holidays off, and Retirement options (subject to a 3-month minimum employment period). The starting pay for this position is $14/hour, Monday

• Friday from 7:00 am (EST) to 3:45 pm (EST).

Minimum Requirements:

• A thorough understanding of production machinery and basic troubleshooting skills is a plus but not required. We will train the right person.
• Knowledge and skills in Math and the Metric system; including the ability to measure materials with accuracy and precision will be helpful.
• Able to understand and operate computers and programs associated with production machinery is a plus but not required. We will train the right person.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds daily in support of loading and unloading material within the production area of the factory.
• Able to read, write and speak English (Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required)
• Must have reliable transportation and be on-time and professional.
• Willing to assist in other duties around the facility as well as a desire to learn new skills, as needed, to support our overall goals.
• Willing and able to follow instructions and procedures.
• The ability to apply critical thinking to one’s workplace.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
