We’re currently looking for a Design Technician to join our growing team.
What You’ll Do:
As a Design Technician, you’ll work cross-functionally with management, sales, engineering, and production teams to help bring new ideas to life. Your focus will be on designing, optimizing, and improving the tools, equipment, and processes used to produce our products—making sure they meet our customers’ expectations and our internal standards for performance and reliability. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and contribute to continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Product & Tooling Design :
Develop layouts, sketches, and detailed CAD drawings for machinery, shop tools, production equipment, and product components.
Process Optimization :
Recommend and implement changes to improve design, process efficiency, safety, and product quality.
Manufacturing Support :
Work with the production team to identify and integrate new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
Project Planning :
Estimate development and production timelines, prepare detailed work plans, and coordinate materials and resources.
Quality & Compliance :
Monitor manufacturing processes to identify ways to reduce waste, improve quality, and ensure safety standards are met.
Automation & Programming :
Assist in developing programs for automated production systems, and help evaluate, install, and troubleshoot new equipment.
Collaboration & Training :
Support cross-functional initiatives and assist in training manufacturing personnel on equipment operation and safety protocols.

You’re a hands-on learner who enjoys working with tools, equipment, and CAD systems to turn ideas into functional designs. You take pride in your work and are driven by continuous improvement . You bring initiative , curiosity, and a strong work ethic to everything you do.
Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) preferred. Strong understanding of basic math and measurement. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Willingness to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, mechanical equipment, and occasional outdoor conditions.

$47,819.56 – $57,589.15 per year
