Description Chipton-Ross is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Production Technician for a contract opportunity in Daytona, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
):
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Basic knowledge and navigation of MSOffice (Excel/Word).
Some level of experience working with your hands. Uses some basic tools(Calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges.)
Experience with 3D Metal Printers such as EOS, Phenix/3DS, Concept Laser or SLM.
Metal finishing techniques.
CNC machining and CAD/CAM programming.
Understanding of materials, properties, laser welding.
Experience with Aerospace and/or Defense industries.
Self motivated and able to stay on task.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The Additive Manufacturing Technician is a dynamic position whose function is to support the 3D printing process for: rapid prototyping, production parts and tooling.
- 15% Removing support structures.
- 15% Performing secondary finishing operations such as polishing, reaming and straightening.
- 15% Prepping machines for operation.
- 15% Material change overs.
- 15% 3D Printer operation and day to day maintenance.
- 15% Parts removal and cleanup.
- 10% Maintain the schedule for multiple printers and builds.
Other duties as required to maintain the business continuity.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Accredited High School Diploma or
GED. WORK HOURS
