Job Overview:

As a Production Cell Leader, you will oversee equipment, materials, and team members to ensure daily and weekly production goals are met. Your role will be key in supporting customer satisfaction by ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of production. You will lead by example, maintaining excellent attendance, driving teamwork, and creating a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate production operators to work as a high-performance team, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. Troubleshoot and solve problems effectively to keep production running smoothly. Collaborate with other team leaders and supervisors to address any operational issues within or between departments. Regularly update the Production Manager and Shift Supervisor on the team’s performance and any challenges. Enforce company policies, particularly regarding attendance and operational procedures. Manage Epicor Jobs and work closely with the Plant Scheduling Team to ensure accurate job scheduling. Embrace new technology and encourage your team to do the same. Continuously review processes to ensure the quality and accuracy of work at every stage. Read, understand, and follow documented work procedures accurately. Be prepared to work 12-hour shifts, rotating days, while performing physically demanding tasks like pushing and pulling heavy molds and equipment. You should be comfortable working in challenging environments, including heat. Any other duties as assigned and may be required to work mandatory weekends as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required). Basic computer skills. At least 1 year of manufacturing experience. Understanding and experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., pull systems, FIFO, quick change-over). Knowledge of Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team. There is No Relocation available for this position.
