Job Overview:

The Wafer Production Operator is responsible for the production output including basic repair, cleaning, and troubleshooting of basic machine faults. Ability to work quickly to maintain high production levels and know when to escalate problems with the machine to supervisors. Safely operate the equipment with quality and safety in mind. must be competent and comprehend complex operations and should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing costs. ensures all manufacturing goes smoothly and efficiently by closely monitoring how products organize their workflows which is integral in a fast-paced production environment. The goal is to ensure that production processes profitably deliver products of maximum quality

RESPONSIBILITIES

Shift work is required. Material input and material replacement management for continual machine operation. Ensure cleanliness of machine and machine components by using hose, air guns, IPA, rags, vacuum, and other small tools. Address machine alarms promptly. Monitor standard equipment settings and escalate deviations for adjustment to Shift Lead or Shift Supervisor. Monitor defects and address defect spikes on time. Replace, repair, or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specifications. Application of adhesives, lubricants, or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipment following standard procedures. WINS Operator will be responsible for the operation of WINS machines. Cassette & Magazine Loading zone Check the information of incoming wafer lot no. Adjustment and action of interference phenomenon occurred during wafer loading process with inspection machine Remove broken wafers that occurred during the loading process Manual loading of magazine wafers and computerized registration of magazine wafers Sorting zone Collecting defective wafers and loading them into dedicated cart Wafer warehouse movement and storage for WIP operations Check process abnormalities and alarm measures between inspections Issue and manage label printer for wafer unique lot classification Un-loading zone Checks cassette movement logistics and monitors the process Handling broken wafers that occurred between process progression Packing zone Performs packing work and computerized registration for out-of-product wafers Organize pallets and transfer to warehouse Works with internal resources to resolve problems. Ensures adherence to department policies, procedures, regulatory compliance, and environmental health and safety requirements. Adhere to the policies and procedures of Q Cells. Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Skills Mechanical aptitude Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations. Understanding of manufacturing tools and equipment. Basic knowledge of the manufacturing process. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to cope with pressure and be a team player. Outstanding communication ability. Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate-controlled. Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. Attention to detail. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Forward-thinking (drives for continuous improvement). Ability to align with organizational values.
