Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Paper Sorter to join our recycling team. As a paper sorter, you’ll be responsible for separating paper materials from mixed recyclables, ensuring high-quality sorting to support our environmental goals and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Sort paper from mixed recyclable materials on a conveyor belt or sorting line Identify and remove contaminants such as plastic, metal, and non-recyclable items Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all plant safety policies and procedures Report any equipment malfunctions or hazards to supervisors Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment Dependable and punctual Extreme attention to detail Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in recycling, warehouse, or general labor is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus! #SAVGA
