The Presser plays a crucial role in ensuring that garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to customers in pristine condition. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Duties Operate pressing machines and equipment to remove wrinkles and creases from garments. Launder items as necessary, ensuring proper cleaning techniques are applied for various fabric types. Inspect garments for stains or damages before pressing, taking appropriate action as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with pressed items. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production goals. Skills Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations. Experience in customer service to effectively interact with clients and address their needs. Knowledge of laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes. Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic work environment. Familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus, particularly in providing excellent service to guests. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishing of garments.
