Shift Days and Hours:

 6AM – 6PM

What You Will Be Doing:

Inspect each piece for accuracy, defects, chips, or imperfections.
Handle and move glass safely using suction tools, gloves, and other safety equipment.
Sort and stage glass pieces for the next step in production or assembly.
Identify and report any cutting inaccuracies or equipment issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times.
Assist with minor adjustments to the breakout table or equipment as needed.
Communicate with the cutter operator and other team members to ensure workflow continuity.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in a glass fabrication or manufacturing setting is a plus.
Ability to handle fragile materials with precision and care.
Basic understanding of glass types and thicknesses.
Physical ability to lift and maneuver large glass pieces (with assistance if needed).
Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize flaws or defects.
Willingness to follow strict safety protocols and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with HEGLA breakout tables or similar equipment.
Forklift or glass handler certification is a plus.
Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
