What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of related experience OR
2+ years of technical education in drafting or engineering (or an equivalent combination)
Training in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Strong mathematical and measurement conversion skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Experience operating woodworking tools and machinery
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Reliable attendance and strong teamwork abilities
What You’ll Do as a
Patternmaker:
Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Calculate and convert drawing dimensions for foundry specifications
Construct patterns and support equipment from engineered designs
Perform dimensional layouts for equipment inspections
Operate woodworking equipment, including saws, lathes, drills, sanders, and planers
Inspect patterns to ensure they meet engineering and foundry standards
Report equipment maintenance needs and assist in quality assurance
Maintain clean and organized work areas and recommend process improvements
